It has been a little while since I last posted a First Sentence Friday. This week I'm reading Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler. I'm on page 54 of 290 and am in love with the style of writing already.
Here is the first sentence:
Frankie Perino and I were lucky that day.

The Unloved comes out in TWO days! I can't even express how excited I am about this novel, nor can I tell you all how grateful I am for all the readers and bloggers support The Unloved has gained so far. You all make me smile!
