I said last week that I've been in a YA Contemporary phase lately. Well, I'm still there. I finished Slammed by Colleen Hoover this week and HAD to buy the next in the two part series right away. Slammed was such an amazing book. I cannot express how much I loved this story. I laughed. I got angry. I even cried like a little baby. Seriously, uncontrollable tears.
Here's the first sentence of the novel:
Kel and I load the last two boxes into the U-Haul.
I know it doesn't sound like it's spectacular based off the first sentence, but trust me...it is.
I'm now reading the second book in this series, Point of Retreat, and loving it just as much (if not more) than the first. These books are my must read's for the year to all of you.
